Joel Olusesan Ayamolowo
(Ex-President)
Honorable Joel Olusesan Ayamolowo is a two-termed Ex- President of the club from 2016-2017 and 2018-2019. He joined the Club in the year 2012 primarily because of his interest in philanthropic activities. Prior to his role as the president, Joel has served the club at various capacities. Aside from working actively in different committees of the Club, he was a member of the Constitution Review Committee, he served as the Chairman of Admission and Disciplinary Committee and he was the Vice President for the years 2014 and 2015. He was elected the president in Nov. 2015 and handed over to the current president in December 2019
Joel is a dynamic leader who believes in the principles of truth and fairness. As a leader of the club, his major goals were to promote and maintain unity among members while also working with others to uphold the mission and pursue the organization’s goals.
During his tenures as the president, in addition to others not listed here, the organization was able to accomplish the following:
A. Philanthropy
• Donation of toys and other valuable items to the Comer Children Hospital of the University of Chicago
• Donation of valuable items to some nursing homes around the city of Chicago
• Initiated a scholarship program to college students in Nigeria
• Give financial support to various community developments in Nigeria
B. Socials
• The organization was able to take a bold step to putting sanity into our membership
• Promote purposeful social interaction among ourselves, families, and friends
• Created happy moments and wonderful social interactions strictly; at various degrees, not only for the members, but including our life partners.
• Educated, encouraged, and strengthened members in areas of personal business development, health promotion, meaningful family interaction, etc.
• Foster peaceful friendliness amongst members while also supporting each other in various ways where needed.
Joel ayamolowo currently works with University of Illinois Health System as a nurse. He obtained a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Chicago State University and Had a Master’s degree in Health Informatics from University of Illinois at Chicago. He is happily married to Kemi Ayamolowo with good children
