Brief History
The idea of forming this Club came into being after a successful fund-raising program in 2010 for one of our close friends who was travelling to Nigeria to contest for a chairmanship position of a Local Government area in Nigeria.
The turnout at the fund-raising event was very impressive and few friends thought thereafter that it would be a good idea to organize ourselves into a Club whose aim and objective would be to support ourselves in every way possible and to help one another.
After few meetings and discussions, the five members that conceived the idea decided to name the association CLUB 5 UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (Club 5 USA as it is widely known now).
Since the official registration of the CLUB with the State of Illinois in 2011, the membership of the club has been steadily increasing. The Club was registered as a non-religious, non-political, and socio-philanthropically oriented. The membership is open to all Nigerians that live in United States of America who is thirty-five years and above.

Build up our individual families, help the community that we live in and assist our country of origin (Nigeria) in socio-cultural, economic, scientific and technological development.
